The process of blanching star anise is very simple. Put the newly picked star anise into hot water and blanch it for a while. This will quickly sterilize the star anise cup and make it easy to dehydrate, saving a lot of time when drying it.
After being blanched at high temperature, the star anise is transferred to the drying yard. After 4 to 6 days of drying, the star anise will be completely dry and the color will gradually turn into reddish brown. It will then be initially packaged, stored, and sold wholesale.
